BOMBAY, India: The Christians held a protest demonstration in Bombay on the presentation and production of the play which insulted Jesus Christ. The Indian police deployed special guards at the venue where the play was staged to prevent revengeful action by the Christians.
The play manifests the emergence of the orthodox trend which advocates that every Indian should be a Hindu. A calculated policy of insulting and ignoring the laws and principles of other religions has been put in operation. These observations were made by Teheran Radio in one of its Urdu broad casts.
