RAJPURA: A member of the CPIM political Bureau, Harkishan Singh Surjit has said that Akali leaders have no political future unless they get united and two parallel Akali conventions by Talwandi and Longowal factions will further divide the Akali Dal Addressing the 29th delegation session of CPIM at Rajpura on Sunday said that Akali leaders must realize the implications of an amendment made by the election commissioner. All political parties have been asked to get them registered again and they are required to include the elements of secularism, democratization in their articles.
For its survival Akali Dal must join hands with the national democratic forces which provide better alternatives to Congress I party in the country and that they should stand for protection and unity of the country.
