NEW DELHI: The Federal Indian Government will take stern Action against those recruiting agents found guilty of exploiting Workers going abroad for overseas employment, an official release said Tuesday.
At a meeting of the directorate of emigration Tuesday, Federal Minister for labor Ram Vilas Paswan said the existing emigration act should be reviewed and necessary changes be incorporated So that the workers were not exploited.
He also suggested that recruiting agencies should be opened in the States where they did not exist and where a large number of workers were seeking overseas jobs.
The minister further said that there was need to open agencies in all the states.
