PATNA: Bihar Chief Minister Laloo Prasad Yadav has termed the Central Governments probe into the Ayodhya incident as “an eye-wash.” Adopting a hard-line stance towards the banned organizations the Chief Minister also issued a seven-point directive 10 the 51 district authorities here on Dec.14.

At his press conference Yadav vented his anger on Prime Minister Narasumha Rao decrying the fact that he continued to be in office despite the “all-outcry all-over the country” for his resignation.

In related developments the State Home Commissioner Jiya Lal Arya announced that 37 persons belonging to the RSS VHP and Bajrang Dal had been arrested.

The state offices of the three front organizations of the BJP were sealed on Sunday itself and their bank accounts seized after an executive order.
