NEW DELHI(PTI): Indian Prime Minister, P.V.Narasimha Rao has stated that his government was working on the composition of the proposed two trusts to undertake the construction of a temple and a mosque in Ayodhya, reports say on Sept. 18. “My government stands for the construction of a temple and a mosque in Ayodhya,” he said.
He said the people of Indian favored such an accommodating approach to this “complicated problem which requires patience and understanding for its solution,”
The Prime Minister emphatically stated that his government was fully committed to protecting the rights and lives of Muslims or any other section of the population.
He said the government has taken special steps to protect the lives of the weaker sections of society and the minorities.
