NEW DELHI (PTI); The Home (interior) Minister S.B. Chavan Saturday aid the foundation stone of the Indian Cancer Society’s new hospital and cancer research center in West Delhi at a simple function here. Speaking on the ‘occasion Chavan said the cancer institute and research center located in Rohini would help provide specialized treatment to deal with this traumatic disease
He lauded the Indian Cancer Society for the work done in educating people on cancer-causing habits and said government would extend all help to the society to Promote its activates
The Lt. Governor of Delhi Mardandey Singh in his speech said he would help the society to acquire land to build lodging facilities near the institute for the attendants of cancer patients
Other who spoke at the brief function was Dr. D.J. Jussawalla managing trustee Indian Cancer Society and other office-bearers ‘Of the society.
