The special session of Parliament began on a tempestuous note with ruling National Front ally the pro Hindu Bharatiya Janata Party Staging its first walk out and senior Congress (I) leader, Vasant Sathe announcing his decision to go on a fast unto death on the reservation issue.
The Congress (I) also sought to censure the govt, through an adjournment motion, which was admitted, on the acts of self-immolation, Police atrocities on students and ineptitude and obstinacy of the Prime minister to deal with the Sensitive reservation issue.
