JERUSALEM: Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak’s top political adviser made a surprise visit to Israel on Sunday to discuss the peace process and Palestinian deportees. Osama el-Baz brought Prime ‘Minister Yitzhak Rabin a message from Mubarak, who has been trying to solve the crisis over the Palestinians’ refusal to resume peace talks until the nearly 400 deportees are returned.
