FRESNO, Ca.: Dr. Manohar S. Grewal, PresidentW.S.., visited Fresno to meet the members of W.S.O. Chapter at the residence of Dr. Gurcharan S. Sidhu. Dr. Grewal’s visit was intended to meet the W.S.O. members of Central Valley which includes, Kerman, San Joaquin, Selma, Madera and other outline Cities around Fresno.

Addressing the members, Dr. Grewal highlighted the objectives and related work being done in the various areas. He stressed the members to get politically involved with the 1988 elections and start developing contacts with the political leaders, to educate them with the Sikh struggle and atrocities of the Indian government. He stressed the need to coordinate the work of W.S.O. chapters all over the country, with each Chapter shouldering the task of one or more projects. He asked the local chapters to keep in touch with Dr. Naunihal Singh, Director of Administration, to facilitate coordination.

He cautioned the members to keep a watchful eye on the false and demoralizing propaganda being spread by the Indian government. In the question answer session, members voiced their concern and views on various matters. Dr. Grewal in no uncertain terms stated that the objects of establishing sovereign Sikh State of Khalistan for the protection of Sikh nation was beyond compromise.

The Central Valley Chapters expressed special thanks to Mrs. Sidhu for arranging lunch and other refreshments for the meeting.
