With the grace of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, a Gurmat camp at Dasmesh Academy Big Pool, Maryland is being held. Please come and join with your kids and participate in camp organisation. Fifty beds are available for kids. Parents who could come with tents or campers are appreciated.
The main objective of the camp is to give kids of our next Sikh generation a definite program. So that Khalsa’s 300th anniversary celebration, by the year of 1999 our kids should learn to write, recite, and understand the sacred scriptures of Guru Granth Sahib Ji
Very fluently. They should have the best knowledge of Sikhism, the most modern and scientific religion of this universe. They should have brotherly love with each other in the world with each other with the blessing of Sahib Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. They should be united under the Kesri Nishan Sahib and to take orders from Akal Takht, They should believe in Akal Purkh “one God, Waheguru”,
A healthy environment will be created in the campsite. The kids should experience a tour of Punjab.
There is no cost to the kids. Persons who wish to do Sewa in any form are appreciated. Persons who could teach girls sewing kurta pajama, dresses are appreciated. Persons who could provide sewing machines and materials such as fabric, thread etc. are appreciated.
Camp starts July 7, Saturday to July 15 Sunday. Make arrangements with your group leader on Friday July 6th. At 6:00 am kids will do Ardas and everyone will get ready to depart. For further information contact your nearest group leader for details.
