Recently four Representatives of US House of Congress introduced a resolution to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the birth of MK Gandhi. This resolution was also co-sponsored by 18 other Representatives. We are pleased lo inform you that the Resolution did not pass the House.

One important factor is that not even a single African-American Representative participated in Sponsoring or co-sponsoring this resolution. This, we believe, is a great victory for our continuing efforts to educate the African Americans and their elected Representatives about the plight of 250 million Dalits in India.

We sent a letter dated October 24, 1994 to the Chairman of the Black Congressional Caucus. Kweisi Mfume, thanking him and all the other members for not participating in the glorification of Gandhi.

Our letter to Dick Gephardt and other Members who sponsored and Co-sponsored the resolution said:

Enemy No. 1 of Dalits: It is with a heavy heart and terrible disappointment that we are writing to you to bring to your attention the great blunder that you have committed in your action by glorifying MK Gandhi who single-handedly destroyed permanently the present future lives of 250 million unreachable (Dalits) of India. It is beyond our comprehension well-informed individual yourself can be so ignorant Knowing the truth about Just because the brahminical of India who participate the obnoxious and evil castes untouchability, ordained by their religion, praise Gandhi, it does not mean that you have to believe them. Yes, Gandhi was a “mahatma”, preacher of “non-violence”, etc., for the upper caste oppressors in India. But for the 250 million Dalits who were and still are being treated as less than beasts by his clan, Gandhi was, is and will be the No. 1 Enemy. We are not saying this, but the greatest Indian born after Lord Buddha in India, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, the real and genuine social emancipator who also gave the Constitution to India, called Gandhi so.

The oppressors in India, joined by you, call Gandhi “mahatma”, but the exploited, discriminated, humiliated, kicked and killed. Dalits define mahatma as: “If a man with God’s name on his tongue and a sword under his armpit deserved the appellation of a mahatma, then Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi is (was) mahatma: (definition given by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar).

Memorial nonsense: Why do you think that the City of Atlanta refused to rename a street after Gandhi in 1992? Atlanta, being the home of Dr. Martin Luther King, would be the right place to glorify Gandhi. The African American community is waking up to the fact that Dr. King was completely ignorant of Gandhi and made a terrible mistake in associating himself with his name.

In order to educate you on the real face of Gandhi, we are enclosing a copy of our appeal to the US Senate submitted in 1992 to stop a memorial in Washington, DC for Gandhi. The honorable Senators agreed to our appeal and put a stop to the memorial nonsense. This document gives more than enough facts to prove that what you have done is a great injustice to a permanently victimized community of over 250 million Dalits. Sooner or later you will have to answer to these 250 million people for not only insulting them, but also helping to perpetuate their never-escapable sufferings by the brahminical Hindu bigots fully supported and legitimatized by Gandhi.

Crucial conspiracy: If nothing else and assuming that you do not care a bit for the suffering of 250 million Dalits, here is ONE GOOD REASON why you should not have helped glorify Gandhi. The startling evidence on Gandhi that will prove beyond any shadow of doubt that he was in fact involved in a criminal conspiracy to suppress an American citizen’s murder in India during his days is presented here. William Francis Doherty, a young American Engineer, was murdered on November 19,1921 in Bombay by unruly Indian Hindu thugs, the whole bloodshed on white people instigated and preached by Mr. Gandhi. Mr. Doherty’s newly wed wife, Annelle Doherty, through her swom notary testimony, had narrated the entire sad incident on Jan. 4. 1929 in Los Angeles, California. She said. “Gandhi was at the height of his popularity assent and political leader, and had. through his violent speeches (violence does not always have do with weapons) against the British. worked his followers into a frenzy of ruce hatred.” Gandhi’s main concern, per Mrs. Doherty, was

the American public should never be allowed to hear of this outrage committed upon her hus. band. It was said that Gandhi wanted that “The land of Dollars must be kept from discovering the facts.” All these facts are documented in a book, “After Mother India” by Harry H. Field, a copy of the relevant chapter is also en closed for your reference.

Hidden facts: We are sending you the enclosed documents to simply bring all the hidden facts about Gandhi. The 250 million Dalits are taking great relief and solace in knowing that your resolution did not pass by the House. But we will not rest until we educate all the American politicians about the vicious brahminical Hindu religion, its caste system and untouchability (correctly called ‘sanctified racism’). the myth of ‘non-violence, and the myth of Gandhi, In addition, the most violent Indian society where oppression, exploitation, segregation, mental and physical torture of mass rapes, parading women naked, murders and countless despicable violence and insults that are casually being practiced against a segment of the population as a matter of their divine right will also be exposed.

On behalf of the permanently suffering 250 million Dalits of India, we are begging you to study the fact son India, its vicious Hindu religion, its evil caste system and untouchability. Gandhi and similar myths, before jumping into any action. If you have any question or Comments on these matters. We will be pleased to talk to you. We are also sending this letter to all Congressmen who, hopefully unknowingly. cosponsored your resolution, Our Ieader said.
