BATHINDA: Oct. 2The Akali Dal (Manjit) has decided to contest nine seats in the ensuing Rajasthan Assembly elections. The dal president, Bhai Manjit Singh, said here that for selecting candidates, a five member committee headed by Bhai Rakhpal Singh, organizing secretary, had been constituted.
In. view of the common issues of the Panth, an action commit various Akali representves Should be constituted which pave the way for the Panthic unity.
He said his dal would launch a morcha if work on the SYL canal restarted. He demanded the linking of agricultural prices with the price index.
