SRINAGAR: Seven people, including an assistant commandant of Central Reserve Police Force, and four militants, were killed and 14 subversives arrested since Saturday night in trouble torn Kashmir valley where army continued search operations to flush out militant.

An assistant commandant another CRPF personnel were killed and another was injured when militants attacked  CRPF patrol party Friday night in Srinagar, the summer capital of the border state of Jammu and Kashmir. A militant was arrested from the spot, the spokesman said.
