New Delhi: The Congress I Punjab elections on its own on the plank of providing peace stability and progress in the trouble tor northern state the party’s general secretary Balram Jakhar said.

Jakhar said the Prime Minister had already denied any move of fielding common candidates with other parties. When he was asked if the failure to come out with a package would hurt the party’s prospects he said that. “We cannot ride roughshod over anyone (any such state) there cannot be a one: sided approach…(in any such exercise)”. He accused him Akalis of failing to provide a stable government in the state whenever they came to power.
