NEW DELHI: An electoral alliance between the Congress and the Bahujan Samaj Party in Punjab is on the cards as talks in this regard are progressing “satisfactorily.”

Meanwhile, the much awaited package to resolve the crisis in the state ruling party is likely to be announced soon.

The Congress is also not averse to adjustment of seats with other likeminded parties such as the CPI, CPM and the Janata Dal for the Assembly elections due in February next year in the state.
