CHANDIGARH, India: The Central Bureau of Investigation has been asked to inquire into the killing of Mr. Harbhajan Singh, a raghi at village Jaura in Amritsar, on the intervening night of June 26 ‘and 27 by paramilitary forces, The inquiry has been ordered in view of the conflicting reports on encounter incident in which Mr. Harbhajan Singh was killed, The Punjab government also has decided’ to withdraw the case against Sunjit Singh Badal and Ram Singh, raghi, who was injured on the same night and against the village Panchayats for the blockade of the road traffic in Tarn Taran on June 27.
