Bimal Khalsa’s move disowned by Dal-M

CHANDIGARE: The Akali Dal-M has disowned the women’s Akali Dal set up by Mrs Bimal Kaur Khalsa.

A party press release said women activists would function as members of the Dal and the Party had not set up any youth or women’s wing as claimed by Khalsa

Earlier, the Dal M had disowned a series of statements issued by Gurte Singh on the Punjab situation. The party also distanced itself from Rajdev Singh ‘Barnala and Atinderpal Singh MPs. Through these measures, dissidence in the party seems to have been suppressed.
