WASHINGTON, D.C: Yarmulkes and turbans will be permitted in US. Military under an amendment made by the Senate in the rules governing the uniform in Defense Service. The Dill to this effect was successfully steered by Senator Frank J. Lautenberg (D) from New Jersey.
