NEW DELHI: With the prospects of Janata Dal of VP Singh appearing brighter the minority caretaker Govt of Chandra Shekhar is planning drastic action in Bihar which might range dismissal of the state’s JD Govt to the postponement of elections in that state for a few days.

Shekhar has suddenly starting showing concern over the deteriorating law and order situation in Bihar It appears most senior leaders of Samajwadi Janata Dal of Shekhar contesting from that state face defeat Congress-I too have joined the chorus as their prospects are bleak in Bihar. Shekhar met the president for half an hour on May 7 to discuss the Bihar situation.

Several central teams have been sent to Bihar to assess the situation
