CALCUTTA (PTD): Chief Minister of the East Indian State of West Bangal Jyoti Basu ruled out formation of the Areas in question in the State and the tribal concerned there did not constitute a majority of the population.
Making a statement in the state Assembly here Basu said that the center had been discussing the issue with the protagonists of the demand for a separate Jharkhand state and some state governments concerned.
