Bhai Jasbir Singh, President of the International Sikh Youth Federation and nephew of Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale was arrested at the Manila Airport when he arrived there by a Philippines Airline flight. He was handed over to the Indian police officials who had flown there in a special Indian Air Force plane to bring him back to India. He is currently being interrogated in the Red Fort Delhi. Bhai Jasbir Singh was stationed in London and had gone to Pakistan to participate in the Guru Nanak birthday celebrations at Nankana Sahib. He was refused entry by the British Immigration Department when he returned from Pakistan. A petition was moved in the British High Court against the immigration department’s decision. His petition was dismissed by the court and after six days Stay a” the airport he was asked to leave England.
He went to Abu Dhabi but was not allowed entry. He met the same fate at Karachi and Bangkok also. Finally he came to Manila, only to be handed over to the Indian Police.
