SAN JOSE, CA: The Babbar Khalsa International salutes Sukhdev Singh Sukha and Harjinder Singh Jinda, who have sacrificed their lives to protect the honor of Sikhs and Sikh shrines. We pay our homages to these great Sikh martyrs. The acts of Sukha and Jinda were quite justified and were executed in the true spirit of Khalsa. General A.S. Vaidya was the killer of thousands of innocent Sikhs and destroyer of Sikh shrines. He was the commander in-chief of the Indian army who attacked the Golden Temple and the Akal Takhat, the holiest Sikh shrines. Anyone who has desecrated the Golden Temple has always met the same fate.

Sukha and Jinda embraced martyrdom with great joy. They were always in high spirits, The Sikh history is replete with such martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the cause of Sikhs as well as humanity, Martyrs Sukha and Jinda have followed the footsteps of S.Udham Singh who avenged the killings of hundreds of innocent people at Jallianwala Bagh Amritsar in 1919. It took him over 21 years to accomplish his goal, but finally he settled the score with General Michael O’ Dwyer in Caxton Hall in London in 1940.

The martyrdom of Sukha and Jinda brings us one step closer to our homeland Khalistan. These brave Sikhs gave their lives so that we can live with dignity and pride and maintain our proud Sikh heredity.

Babbar Khalsa International resolves to continue the struggle for Khalistan, the independent Sikh State and to put an end to the Hindu rule of oppression in India. Our struggle for Khalistan will continue unabated, even with greater force, until our goal is achieved.

Both Sukha and Jinda had taken full responsibility for the obliteration of general Vaidya. The Indian government has been trying to extradite Sukhvinder Singh Sukhi and Ranjit Singh Kuki (now in New York jail) to India by falsely including them in the general Vaidya case. They want to hang them too. We call upon the Sikhs to contact their senators and political leaders and ask them to step in and secure the release of Sukhi and Kuki, Sukhi and Kuki must not be extradited to India. Babbar Khalsa International urges the US government to release these two innocent young Sikhs and give them political asylum.
