KARACHI (PTI): India’s ace cricketer Mohammed Azharuddin equaled a world record in cricket when he caught Pakistan’s Wasim Akram off Manaoj Prabhakar in the first test against Pakistan on Nov. 16,

With the catch, Azharuddin equaled the world record of five catches in an innings, so far held by another Indian, Yajuvendra Singh, who had snapped up five English Batsmen in a test match at Bangalore in the 197677 home series against Tony Greig’s team.

Azharuddin’s victims were Aamir Malik, Shoaib Mohammed, Javed Mian dad, Salim Malik, and Wasim Akram.
