Journalists all over the country have strongly condemned the arrest of Mr. Arora. The Punjab Haman Rights Organization, the Punjab Sikh Lawyers’ Council, the Amritsar Reporters Association and several other organizations have condemned the arrest and described it as a precursor to the imposition of emergency and dictatorship in the country, they have democratic minded people to oppose such actions of the government.
