LUDHIANA: Amarinder Singh had a closed door meeting with Mr. Jagdev Singh Talwandi, President of the UAD and discussed the unit move. Later Amarinder Singh said all factions of Akali Dal were in favor of unity. He also met Sunjit Singh Barnala and some other leaders of the UAD and they all expressed desire for unity. Meanwhile the Punjab unity of communist party supported the Akali Unity move as a positive development.
