CHANDIGARH: ‘Capt. Chanan Singh Sidhu Publicity Secretary of the Shiromani Akali Dal (Mann) has sat Pakistan Prime Minister Ms Benazir Bhutto to clear her stand about the Sikh struggle so that ‘Sikh Nation can come to some conclusion about that country’s attitude. He said that if it is true that Ms. Bhutto has aided the then Prime Minister of India Rajiv Gandhi then it is unfortunate for the Sikh Struggle and Sikhs have to change their strategy about Pakistan.

Responding to Ms. Benazir Bhutto’s attitude the former Chief Minister of Punjab and Shiromani Akali Dal (Longowal) leader Surjit Singh Barnala said that it is just an allegation by political rivals of Pakistan Pome ‘Minister and it is not a clear statement of Ms. Bhutto He said that only the late Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi or Ms. Benazir herself were aware of the reality that she had even aided Indian Prime Minister for wiping out the militants from Punjab he said that now Ms.Bhutto must clear her stand about the alleged involvement of Pakistan in wiping out the militants in Punjab.

While reacting sharply Parkash Singh Badal President of Shiromani Akali Dal said that Sikhs should keep themselves aware of Pakistanis stand it is now clearer that the P.M. Ms. Bhutto acted against the Sikh movement. ‘

When contacted the Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (SGPC) President Gurcharan Singh ‘Tohra said that it may be possible that the government agents have planted this news so as to put Ms. Bhutto into trouble and also provocative towards Sikh community

Meanwhile Council of Khalistan has urged Pakistan to recognize Khalistan which is at present occupied by the Indian Armed Forces Dr Gunn it Singh Aulakh President of the Council in a press statement said that the Khalistanis and Pakistanis have a common enemy: India. He said the recognition of Khalistan is in the national security interest of Pakistan While seeking recognition the Council of Khalistan said that Pakistan should realize that Sikhs never forget friends. Reacting to reports that Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto aided Rajiv Gandhi in the genocide of the Sikh nation Dr.Gurmit Singh Aulakh said I hope that Prime Minister Bhutto was misquoted by her political rivals
