Chandigarh, India — Major Gen. Narinder Singh (Retired) radical leader criticized the Akali leadership for moving about with so much security around them while claiming to be the leaders of Sikh masses. He also stated that the Akali leaders who have accepted the police security personnel for their personal security should quit.
Baba Joginder Singh turned down the request for the police protection and stated his protectorate is Sikh Sangat. He condemned the arrests of workers of United Akali Dal and Sikh Students Federation at various places in Punjab and outside Punjab.
