AMRITSAR: The acting Jathedar of Akal Takht, Prof Manjit Singh, was admitted to Guru Ram Das Hospital early Jan. 20th, with acute stomach pain.
Asked about the fate of the forthcoming meeting of the Akali factions for unity at Akal Takht on January 23. the high priest on the “will of God.” But he expressed the hope that he would recover by that time.
