NEW DELHI: The BJP parliamentary party leader Mr. LK. Advani Tuesday demanded that Parliament as a whole adopt a resolution calling for the completion of the Bofors investigation without any intervention.
Giving his reaction to the External Affairs Minister Mr. Madhavsinh Solankis resignation the BJP leader said that the all-party resolution should insist that the Swiss authorities ignore any move by the government here to scuttle the probe Mr. Solanki he said really had no option but tender his resignation. Mr. Advani termed the External Affairs Ministers action as a monumental blunder. He however urged the Prime Minister to respond to the whole issue remarking that Mr. Solanki had acted only as a messenger boy.”
Asked whether his party would demand the Prime Minister’s resignation soon this issue Advani chose to evade a straight reply.
