Mohammed Isar who had brought his brother from Pakistan to Canada for treatment of kidney disease was also at the bhog ceremony. He was from Panja Sahib and in need of help as stated in a letter from the Toronto gurdwara.
The secretary of the gurdwara here S, Bakhish Singh’s plea to help, raised $1300 for Isar in half an hour, This will enable him to travel back to Pakistan, Isar distributed pictures of Nankana Sahib and Panja Sahib, two places of great religious importance to Sikhs, to all present.
