NEW DELHI (PTI):The Janata Dal leader V. P. Singh recently Said he will support any effort for reconciliation among the estranged factions in the party
Singh said he would also attend the proposed national executive meeting if both the groups participate in it
In a statement issued here the former prime minister said i will appeal to everybody to make a Success of any reconciliation effort. So far as I am concerned on the mass interface of JD or election campaigns I will be supporting the party –J D in the coming elections in the states
The Janata Dal split on June 21 the third split in four years with 14 of its 39 Lok Sabha (Parliament’s lower house) members declaring themselves as a distinct political group in the house
The split group included senior leaders like Rabi Ray George Fernandez and Syed Shahabuddin.
