WASHINGTON: Disapproving of the alarmist approach to the Enron issue, US Commerce Secretary Ronald H. Brown last week expressed hope that the US power giant and the Maharashtra government would be able to resolve the controversy to their mutual satisfaction.
Talking to newspersons at the Foreign Press Center here, he however ‘said it would be “unrealistic” to assume that there was no concern over the fate of the power project with an investment of over $930 million, “It ‘was a matter of concern but not one of alarm,” he remarked.
