GUWAHATI: he All Bodo Students Union (ABSU) has threatened to renew the stir for a separate“ Bodo land” if the government failed to solve the boundary problem of the Bodo land Autonomous Council. Ina statement, the ABSU general secretary, Maheswar Basumalary, said the decision was taken at a convention of the student body on July 1.
The meeting also discussed the issue of the unification of the Bodo People’s Party in the greater interest of the Bodos.
The ABSU working committee would be constituted at a meeting on July 12, he said.
