Dear Editor
I thought it was either India Abroad or News India when 1 noticed the front page headline (WSN 4-15-94) regarding Beant Singhs accusations against Torah and Badal. Tam not supporting Torah or Badal but I ask in wonderment: since when the World Sikh News has started giving credence to the lies uttered by the people like Beant Singh or KPS Gill the two notorious political thugs? It is all the more disconcerting to note that such distensions should occupy the precious space on the top of the front page?
On the same front page we read Ray claims evidence against Pakistan which is a familiar official story repeated thousand times Did Indias ruling regime ever deal with a problem in Kashmir or Punjab in a candid and honest fashion? It has always blamed the outside forces for its own crime of genocide in Kashmir and Punjab
I would strongly urge a selective and judicious utilization of space in the World Sikh News.
