AMRITSAR (PTD): A top militant of Khalistan Commando Force (Zafarwal) Punjab Singh Chapa and his unidentified accomplice were shot dead by police in an hour-long encounter in Tarn Taran district last week.
Director general of Punjab police K.P.S. Gill said that the militant who remained hiding in Terai region of Uttar Pradesh had come to Punjab to activate his outfit and was trying to shift large quantity of arms to Tam Taran area.
