HYDERABAD: Even as the families Of the three youths killed by the police in an alleged encounter last year were about to observe the first death anniversary On June 21 the year-long controversy over their killing has once Again erupted with full force casting shadows of doubt over the claims of the police.

It may be recalled that three youth including two post-graduates from the Aligarh University were shot dead by the police and it was claimed that they were killed in an encounter Police also claimed that the three were planning to spread terror through subversive activitis and were also involved in the killing of a BJP leader Nand raj Goud  and a VHP activist Papalah Goud in Hyderabad after the Ayodhya incident.

Though the people in general never accepted the police version as there were many gaping holes in it the new Clements which have come to light now have made the position of the police even more untenable and has embarrassed the State BJP leaders

In a development which has stunned both the police and the BJP leader Lalitha Goud the widow of former BJP councilor Nandraj Goud has publicly blamed a group of BJP leaders for the killing of her husband. Addressing a Press conference in Hyderabad Lalitha flatly rejected the claims of the police and other BYP leaders that ISI agents were involved in the killing of Goud and said it was part of a deep-seated conspiracy to eliminate many other BJP leaders. But she said that Goud was killed in a planned manner by a group of BJP men who were not happy with the growing popularity of her husband If ISI was involved in the murder it would not have targeted. my husband but first it would have killed top party leaders she said. Not leaving the matter there Mrs .Lalitha has also written to BJP President L.K Advani and sought an inquiry into the incident. She has asked him to expose the BJP leaders involved in the murder and lake stem action against them. She has also made a similar representation to the State Government.
