HAMIRPUR: Eight persons were killed and 28 injured 14 of them seriously when a bus of the Hamirpur Cooperative Transport Society fell into a 30 feet-deep gorge near Limbo village 15 km from here June 5.
The ill-fated bus was on its way Pathankot in Punjab failed to negotiate a curve and it fell into the gorge according to the Deputy Commissioner. Hamirpur K.J.B.V. Subramaniam
While seven persons died at the spot the eighth 14-year-old Pankaj son of Kuldipraj an official of the Income Tax Department at Mandi succumbed to his injuries at the district hospital he resents Ram the conductor of the bus was among those killed.
