CHANDIGARH: A press note issued by the Headquarters Western Command June 5th termed a report appearing in a section of the press as factually incorrect. It said that the Army unit of Kapurthala did not use force in getting its land on Kanji Road evicted by Jhuggi dwellers shopkeepers and others they had voluntarily vacated the area after being given adequate notice.
