NEW DELHI (PTI): The World, Health Organization has said the Polio and Guinea worm disease) will disappear from India in next three years, and Leprosy brought under control by the end of this decade.
Diseases caused by Iodine Deficiency will also be eradicated by year 2000, but ATDS is poised for an alarming increase and Kala Azar has made a comeback in India whose south-Asia regional director, Dr. Uton Muchtar Rafei said.
