GLEN ROCK N.J.: The Sri Guru Singh Sabha of Glen Rock held a Bhog and an Akhand Path for political prisoners, Sukhminder Singh Sandhu and Ranjit Singh Gill on April 10, 1994.
Well known attorney for the two, Ronald Kuby, told the sangat of the past 7 years of hardship that his clients had endured as they fought extradition to India. He was introduced to the gathering by S. Ranbir Singh Sekhon, chairman of the Gurdwara management committee who also endeavored to inform the gathering of the history of these two young men.
Sewadars for the event included Mrs. Devinder Kaur, president of the management committee and S. Charan Singh Kalsi, Secretary of the organization. They advised the Sangat that this was an opportunity to show that the Sikh community stood fore square behind Ranjit and Sukhminder.
