KARNAL: Janata Dal leader Ram Bilas Paswan has accused BSP president Kanshi Ram of hypocrisy and double dealing.
Condemning the BJP for the demolition of the Babri Masjid and the Congress for its complicity in the act the Janata Dal leader said the money to be spent on building the Ram temple could provide drinking water to two lakh villages. He asked if there was in law against the Shiv Sena leader BAL Thackeray who issued diktat against Muslims and ordered the beating of journalists.
Before reaching the Ambedkar Stadium the Jyoti led by Raghubir Singh Kasrana would be taken all over the state he added Paswan also asked the realists to travel ticketless for the purpose and warned that if anybody dared to touch them on the way the Party would not allow the Parliament to function.
Later addressing a meeting of the Sikh forum Paswan expressed Sympathy for the Sikhs killed in the 1984 riots and accused Prime Minister Narasimha Rao who was then Home Minister for the tragedy
He also supported the forum in its demand for declaring Punjabi as second language in Haryana. Paswan said while Delhi had already accorded second language status to Punjabi Haryana too should follow suit for it was a language of 41% people in the ‘State
