LONDON: A demonstration was held outside 10 Downing Street Whitehall London on March 15th to protest about Sikh human rights violations in Punjab. In this demonstration THRO was supported by hundreds of followers of International Sikh Youth Federation Babbar Khalsa International Akhand Kirtan Jatha Khalistan Liberation Movement International Dal Khalsa Shiromani Akali Dal (UK) Council of Sikh Gurdwaras Birmingham and the Council of Khalistan. it was an orderly well-organized and peaceful affair On behalf of the participating groups a petition was presented to a representative of the Prime Minister Mr Major It is hoped that Mr. Major will take up the Sikh call for self-determination and for a full and fair plebiscite in Punjab with the visiting Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narasimha Rao
