JAMMU(PTI) :India‘s handling of Kashmir situation has created imbalanced impression in the west although Pakistan is mainly responsible for Human Rights violations in Kashmir says Claire Galez chairperson of Belgium based organization of International Relations and Human Rights Research (IRHRR).
Galez who visited several parts of Jammu and Kashmir recently said that Pakistan was basically guilty of human rights violations because it supplied weapons in the valley and provided arms training to the youth on its soil to indulge in killings and destruction of property in Kashmir.
The Pakistan government she said was also responsible for creating a situation in which almost the entire community of minonty Hindus had to flee from Kashmir valley.
In the west an impression has been created that Indian security forces were indulging in excesses in Kashmir and the government had given free hand to them to Suppress the freedom movement launched by people of Kashmir
