NEW DELHI (PTI):A Bharatiya Janata Party member last week expressed concern in the Upper House over what he called the large presence of Pakistani nationals in the country who stayed on even after the expiry of their visas.

Raising the matter during zero hour in Rajya Sabha Kailash Narain Sarang said according to an estimate over one hundred thousand Pakistani nationals were reported to have stayed on in India despite the expiry of their visas.

The authority’s concemed had not been able to trace the whereabouts of these persons and they ‘Were posing a great security threat {o the country he said.

These Pakistani nationals he said were reported to be in Ahmedabad Bombay and Bhopal.

The member wanted the government to take the matter seriously take action and trace these foreign Nationals.
