CHANDIGARH; Punjab chief minister Beant Singh has asked the vice-chancellor of Punjabi University Patiala to take action against those teachers who hailed U.S. President Clintons statement on Sikh rights. The chief minister issued a public statement criticizing the group of University professors. He said the University administration will be directed to take appropriate action against the erring professors.
