Dear Editor

In 1928-30 the “Simon Commission’ presented its report on the way British India should be governed for the future Concemed residents of the subcontinent made written representations to the Commission fearing fanatic Hindu rule resulting in slavery and oppression of minorities and low caste Dalits. According to newspaper reports at that time the Commission drew a graphic picture of the extraordinary diversity of race religion language and caste among British India’s 319 million people (current population more than 1500 million) The Commission unanimously suggested that the whole vast mass of land and people should one day be ruled.as a “Federation’ uniting the independent princely states with the British Indian provinces.

The narrow minded selfish Hindu leaders and fearful Muslim leaders at that time insisted on absolute independence for which they were not capable of because of their inaptitude fanaticism and deceitful ways.

Prior to British rule in Northern India Sikhs were the rulers. They lost their empire because of treachery and betrayal by Hindus in the employ of King Ranjit Singh. Sikhs can never be subjugated so they began their independence struggle immediately. By 1940 Sikhs were scattered in all parts of the subcontinent. They sacrificed their lives in great numbers to force Briain to free their land. In their last minute frenzy to get out of India the British government ignored the rules of fairness to honestly give back the areas for the rulers and Nations from: whom these areas were snatched. Their haphazard hummed exit from the Indian subcontinent resulted in the formation of Bharat Pakistan Burma Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. The formation of these governments headed by fanatic greedy corrupt and brutal rulers brought death by torture and brutal crimes against human dignity which became a routine occurrence. The governments Be equally blamed are the former U.S.S.R. U-K_ and USA who supported these corrupt rulers through origin aid and turned a blind eye O state terrorism under the stupid are text Of not interfering in internal matters of these goonda rulers.

The British should have handed over the power to the people from whom they snatched it away in the first place. Even the Suggested federal set up of the subcontinent would have had better chances to survive and today’s suffocating state terrorism would have been controllable. The Congress party of India (even the name is English) was established by the British with people like Gandhi and Nehru with whom they made deals with the connivance of the British the Congress party was Successful in setting up a caste Hindu Rule in India. This one bigger blunder on the part of the British has resulted in rape of women and children and torture of it in   cent people.

in 1957 before the start of the U.N. security council’s debate on Kashmir the British delegation’s  head Sir Pierson Dixon made a protest to Indian delegation head Mr.Menon on his breach of Convention regarding confidentiality on the secret commonwealth conference papers In response Menon replied “Since when have the British become so touchy about such matters? Your countrymen have thick hides no wonder the best shoes are made in England.” In the light of this stupid remark by Menon it is apparent that the British may have thick hides but they never committed such brutal crimes against fellow human beings as those committed by the Hindus of brown thin hides at present on the Indian subcontinent This abuse of power and betrayal by the Hindus will surely lead to the freedom of India’s masses in the near future However the treachery and brutality of the Hindu rulers will never be forgotten.
