ROPAR: Akali Dal Mann president Simranjit Singh Mann has called upon the Sikhs in America to gherao Prime Minister Narasimha Rao during his proposed visit to the US because he was responsible for the massacre Of Sikhs in 1984 as home minister.
Talking to newsmen at the judicial courts here last week he appealed to President Bill Clinton to ban his entry to the US under relevant US laws. He said that no person responsible for large scale killings was allowed to enter the US He quoted the example of Austrian President Kurt Waldheim who was also not allowed to enter America on similar grounds in the past
Mann and Charanjit Singh Walia MP President and general secretary of Akali Dal (Mann) have been further demanded to judicial custody till Jan.15.
