AUGUSTA GA: On October 9, 1994, it was a great moment for the peace loving, nonpartisan Sikh community of Augusta. On this day a ground breaking ceremony for the gurdwara held by the Punj Pyaras, Bhai Jit Singh performed the Ardas.
‘The construction of the gurdwara will commence in one month we are hoping that it will be completed by March or April 1995. This will be a 5,600 square feet facility with a main hall, Langar Hall, with kitchen and residential accommodations for Bhai Sahib, This gurdwara is being constructed in metro accepted.
