Dear Editor,

I condemn in the strongest words possible, Dr. GS, Aulakh’s mud throwing on Singh Sahib Bhai Manjit Sigh Ji, Jathedar Sri Akal Takhat Sahib, by his remarks in his monthly letter and circulating as called top secret letter allegedly” written by K. Srinivasan, Foreign Secretary, Govt. of India to Dr. LM, Singhvi, Indian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom.

Firstly, let me make it quite clear that I am neither a political person nor l have any political ambitions. I am trying to follow the path of a Sikh and have a long way to go on this path. I strongly believe in the Chardhi Kala of the Khalsa Panth and Khalsa Ji Ke Bol Bale, I support Sikh organizations fighting for Khalistan including Dr, G.S. Aulakh’s organization.

Dr, Aulakh’s remarks regarding Singh Sahib have appalled me to a great extent, I still cannot perceive that a Sikh can stoop so low send can circulate TRASH even against such a nice person as Singh Sahib is (leaving aside his esteemed position as Jathedar of Sri Akal ‘Takhat Sahib), Dr Aulakh, did you not read in the papers that Indian Govt. had disowned any connections with this letter? And you still circulated this letter! This fabricated letter was circulated to discredit Singh Sahib who is trying to unite the Sikh Nation.

You are in the habit of criticizing and condemning almost every Sikh Organization and dedicated Sikhs here and back home. I have found this by personally talking with you and reading your statements in the press. You outright criticize and condemn almost every one and spare no one. You think that Panthic Peasants with you and ends with you. This time you have crossed all norms of decency by throwing mud on the Jathedar of Sri Akal Takhat Sahib who is a very decent individual, highly educated, and very well versed in Gurbani, a talented Keertania and a great religious leader who feels the pulse of the Nation.

I believe that ever Sikh on earth including Singh Sahib wants Khalistan from the core of his heart but everybody expresses this feeling differently. You must realize that our strength lies in the unity. We can achieve our goal only if we are UNITED, We will suffer more if we are disunited, we are already a badly divided lot. You are creating more disunity by circulating such TRASH. Khalsa Panth needs unity at this critical juncture and you are torpedoing this unity and thus the Khalistan movement, my sincere advise to you is that you should learn to work with your Sikh brothers and stop Self Glorifying yourself. This is not the way of a Gur Sikh.

The aim of the week long spiritual festival which was attended by Singh Sahib, was to promote and encourage unity among the followers of the World’s Faiths, The cost of the entire event was bome by the wealthy East African Madhvani family. The Madhvani family had paid for the hotel accommodation of the guests and 40, hired cars used by the religious leaders, The Indian Govt, had nothing to do with this festival.

The deliberation of Singh Sahib, at the spiritual festival, has been totally misquoted by Dr. Aulakh “Ab tome walon ke din gaye, jome walon ke din aaye haim.” It only meant that those who break away from the Almighty will fissile away and the ones who join together spiritually to believe in the Almighty will survive. In short, Singh Sahib meant, “Raj karega Khalsa, Akirahe nakoi, Khuar hoi sab milengae, Bache sharan jo hoi.” Other world faiths which were represented in this festival were Buddists, Jains, Shinto, Zoroastrians, Judaic, Christians, Hindus and Islam, During his stay of seven days, Singh Sahib visited Gurdwaras and Sikhs in Birmingham, Southampton, Barking and South Hall.

I have one humble request to make to my brothers and sisters in North America. Please write to Panthic publications The World Sikh News or The Charhdi Kala to share your views on this mud throwing on Singh Sahib by Dr. Aulakh and whether he is helping or torpedoing the Panthic unity and Khalistan movement.
