NEW DELHI (PTI): Cuba recently warned that the United Suites would have to think twice if they planned to launch a military action against tin the wake of the ongoing crisis of refugee exodus from the Latin American State.
Cuban envoy in India, Ms. Olga Chamero Tries told reporters here that Washington should give up its hostile policy towards Havana and agree for talks without any preconditions on lifting the 32 year old economic embargo against Cuba. Strengthening the sanctions against Cuba would be an act of war on its people; Tries said and added that the sole motive of the US was to bring down the system in Cuba by creating conditions of unrest among its people.
She noted that India along with the rest of the nonaligned movement was strongly opposed to the continuing economic blockade.
Tries also sought the support of the international community in mobilizing support against the economic sanctions.
